Development and learning are at the heart of our work. It is through exploration, curiosity, and the joy of playing and learning that we build the foundation of our preschool. We see the potential in every child and work consciously to provide all favorable conditions for our children’s development and learning.

At Molekylen, both children and educators come from diverse cultural backgrounds. We want everyone to feel safe, happy, and respected regardless of their background or circumstances. We are aware of and proud of the cultural diversity we have, seeing it as a strength and a path toward an intercultural learning environment. In accordance with the Swedish Curriculum for the Preschool (Lpfö 22), the preschool’s mission includes passing on and developing cultural heritage – values, traditions, history, language, and knowledge – from one generation to the next. The preschool must also ensure that different cultures are made visible in education. Recognizing one’s own world contributes to the ability to understand and empathize with others.

Our preschool is open to all children, and we offer a high-quality educational environment in well-adapted facilities. Our playground is equipped with inviting play equipment and spacious areas for children to explore and play. Molekylen Preschool in Falköping consists of three age groups:

Protoner: 1–3 years

Neutroner: 3–4 years

Elektroner: 4.5–6 years


The groups mix during joint activities such as theme projects, excursions, and study visits. Grouping the children aims to develop the educational work and broaden each child’s unique opportunity for full development. At Molekylen Preschool in Skövde, we have two age groups: 1–3 years and 3–5 years.
